The astrological interpretation below helps you see how Transits are used to understand life’s events and ourselves

Updates, Events, and Forecasts Astrology has many ways to know what’s going on at any time in your life–the past, the present or the future. I use four methods–Transits, Progressions, Solar & Lunar Returns, and Key Cycle Progressions. Transits are the planets (Sun & Moon are called planets) in the sky. They represent what some call Karma in our lives and help us to work out our growth and experiences. These transits provide energies that connect with those energies inside our being and fulfill who and what we are at that moment. If we are full of anger and Mars in the sky crosses over the degree of Pluto in our Chart and Being, then we may have a car accident or a fight w/ someone. If we aren’t angry inside, we may only discover a hidden piece of info about our ego. It has to do with love. In the above chart a young Pisces Male, when using his skateboard, had the Transiting planets on the outside of the wheel at 6:45 PM. Though an expert skateboard athlete he suddenly fell and injured his arm by dislocating his elbow.
Why did this happen? I ask. Immediate explanations should deal with the 3rd House (and its Ruling planet) or the 3rd Sign (Gemini) because they are of the same frequency as the energy of the arm. We should expect Mars to be involved too.
Right off, we see Mars is in a hard angle square to his 3rd House Sun. Both requirements are filled–and both exactly at 25 degrees. (And when I make a chart for his Key Cycle, that Mars is in the 3rd House, since a Key Cycle chart brings the expectations of the year up to the moment. Key Cycles are terrific for determining where in the life something will happen–in marriage, in the mind, in a neighborhood, with the children, in the career or job, etc.) And then Mars joins or conjuncts Neptune which is the Ruler of the 3rd House Pisces. The arm again.

Mars conjunct Neptune could also suggest our Male was stoned at the time of the accident. He would have to confirm this, but it would clearly show what else might be needed in his growth. Another House that has to do with illness and accident is the 6th, and transiting his 6th is Saturn, the planet that brings us to task for what we haven’t learned to love or recognize in ourselves. Saturn is making a 90-degree hard angle square to his Natal Mars in the 9th! This gives us a clue that his 9th House Mars shows self-satisfied opinions, perhaps even arrogance that pushes itself on others and perhaps holds their views in contempt. Now we begin to understand why he dislocated his elbow (making his arm stiff, perhaps paralleling his inflexibility). His anger (two Mars squares), which he probably wouldn’t acknowledge (9th House), appears again in the huge transit of Pluto over his Natal Moon, indicating powerful emotions that Plutonian energies will likely transform as they work on the Sagittarian Moon that also reveals his commitment to his own views. But it also suggests some repressed sexuality (12th House Pluto with the Ruler in the sexual Sign of Scorpio). It appears his desires, though maybe unconscious, are being dredged up by Pluto so that we might guess that some such sexual encounter might be part of the transformation process. Here we come to Forecast or Prediction. Notice that transiting Neptune will soon conjunct his Natal Venus. When I saw this several weeks before his injury, I told him he was likely to connect with some woman he would possibly fall in love with. Soon after his injury, it occurred right on cue as he fell headlong in love.
These processes are excellent for determining what’s hidden in the depths of consciousness. The client and I work together to bring about what the person seeks at his stage of development. He may only want to know what job he’ll get. |
